Loved the SEXY Party!

The Sexy Party at Passion Club in Cabo San Lucas was an absolute hit.

With the Spring Break season and crowd behind us, Cabo Noche magazine and Hautter.com decided to throw the unexpected, "Sexy," one of the hottest pajama and lingerie parties ever to hit Land's End. For those of you who missed it, I have all the intimate details to share with you.

 

 

 

 

On April 25th, 2008

Sexy was unveiled at Passion Club inside the increasingly-popular ME By Meliã Cabo hotel in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The stunning location of Medano Beach and Land's End presented a perfect backdrop as the doors opened at 9pm.

By 9:30, only a handful of guests had entered as people began trickling down the spiraling staircase into the Lobby Bar of Passion Club. For those who have never been, the Lobby of ME by Meliã Cabo offers an incredible view through two gigantic 30-two-story high opening's, framing an absolutely breathtaking perspective of the Sea of Cortez. This sight is visible from the entire ME by Meliã Cabo lobby, even as you make your way down the spiral staircase and on into Passion Club's Lobby Bar.

The dress code for the night was bed-wear; pajamas, lingerie, baby dolls, teddies, slips, robes, wraps, garter belts, stockings, high heels, boxers and whatever else the Cabo locals and visitors alike could creatively choose as their costume for the night. Plus, Hautter.com was putting up $1,000 USD in cash and prizes to the winner of the pajama and lingerie contest.

 

 

 

 

As the evening matured, so did the music. The sounds were as fun and interesting to hear as the people were to watch. The featured performance of the evening, was an appearance by one of MySpace.com's most popular web-celebs, the ultra sexy DJ Heavygrinder (left). Heavygrinder spun a smooth set of electronic music, fused with club anthems, electro, house and even a couple hip-hop beats.  DJ Nestor opened the evening inside the Lobby Bar and Roman Rosati spun in the main room alongside Heavygrinder. All in all, the music was incredible, especially being experienced through Passion Club's all-new sound system.

 

 

 

 

 

In addition to me covering this event in 2-D, the gorgeous Crissty Santana (left), the new host of the Web-TV show, Haut In Cabo, was also in the house shooting a new episode for her HautterTV.com series. And as usual, Ms. Santana was no fashion-slouch. She wore a stunning black baby doll designed to turn men numb. Watch for her all-new episodes coming to HautterTV.com very soon.

 

To many American's and to those who only visit, Cabo is many times viewed as a wild and crazy place. However in reality, Cabo San Lucas is far more conservative then the younger party scenes of Cancun, Puerta Vallarta and other Mexican party cities.  In fact, before the event, there was much local debate of how an event like this would do here in Cabo. The Annual Cabo Pimp N' Ho Costume Ball is a similar event, but is perceived more as a costume party, where as Sexy seamed to have promoted a more serious lingerie party theme.

 

Though the event seamed to start out slow, by 11:30, the turnout was good and by the looks of it, the Sexy event concept was working. There were many in dress code, displaying sexy attire from such brands as Gucci and Versace, plus local designs by Kamasutra and Vanessa Body. Even the famous Australian socialite, business woman and self-confessed clothing designer, Bessie Bardot (www.bessiebardot.com), was in attendance, accompanied by three stunning Australian hotties to flaunt her new  designs. Bessie and entourage were accompanied by a private yacht owner and captain, all of whom came to visit Los Cabos aboard a world-class yacht.

At midnight, The MC, Juan&Only (below) began lining the Lobby Bar stage with those wanting to participate and reveille their sexy-selves in the Sexy Lingerie and Pajama Contest.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Several uninhibited women and men participated, as DJ Nestor provided an energetic beat for them to dance to. Their mission on stage was to prove to the crowd why they deserved the $1,000 USD in cash and prizes. In the end, the decision was "Cabo-typical", which is basically anything but typical. Of more than 10 extremely beautiful and super sexy women, the crowd preferred the dance of a different dancer. It was toss-up between one entry consisting of four Australian hotties (mentioned previously) who danced so tightly together, they seamed to have fused together and entry two, a grungy surfer from Laguna Beach, California named Danny.

 

 

Danny (above right) was dressed in red long underwear, no shirt (allowing clear sight of his beer belly), a cap and suspenders attached to his boxer shorts. His carrying of a banana and comic, yet stylish dance, won the crowd over. By 12:15am and using the crowds cheers as the voting system, Juan&Only declared a split-decision, splitting the prize between the group of four sexy women and the goofy So-Cal surfer dude. Interesting indeed, as are many nights on the town in Cabo.

 

And just when me and the crowd thought the contest was the climax of the event, Hautter.com through us another curve,  as they opened the sliding glass doors into Passion Club's main room. At this same time, I began to realize a steady flow of newcomers down the main staircase leading into the event. When I went upstairs to investigate, I was struck aback with the sight of a mob of people outside of ME by Meliã Cabo, patiently paying the cover charge to enter the event.

 

 

Back inside, people continued to pack into the club, including the Passion Club Gogo Girls, complete with psychedelic wigs and cute dance steps. Between the sexy theme, the pulsating music and all the people, the Hautter.com's Sexy party just kept getting hautter and hautter. I guess all that local uncertainty was over. It was apparent, the Sexy concept was an absolute hit. By 1:30am, the event was absolutely thronged with happy party goers, some of which were calling it the best party of the year!

 

 

 

 

 

 

The partiers wore a variety of textures including lace, satin, leopard and zebra prints, they displayed defined muscles, tan skin and astonishing bodies. The hairstyles, pony tails and tufts were extremely chic. People were wild, fun, uninhibited, eccentrically glamorous. There were jet setters from the New York, Miami's South beach, Las Vegas, L.A., the Mexico mainland, New Zealand, Australia and beyond, creating one of the most explosive events of the late spring. Resident deejay Roman Rosati's aggressive French style kept the dance floor vibrate until closing time.

 

Undoubtedly, the Sexy party was not uncommon when comparing the turnout of past Hautter.com events, but Sexy was definitely one of the most erotic soirées to take place in Los Cabos in quite a while. Totally "Haut", and totally Hautter! So stay tuned to Hautter.com for more upcoming Hautter events as well as other events, things to do and the absolute best of what Los Cabos has to offer.


Ticket Advice:
Tickets for Sexy were available at a 50% discount (for 60+days) to all those sure enough to buy them in advance. Discounted advance tickets are available for most Hautter.com events, and from what I saw this past year, almost all of Hautter's events were sold out. So for those who live in Cabo or know they will be in Cabo during a Hautter.com, I highly recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance.  Advance tickets are  usually available online and at contributing Los Cabos ticket retailers.
