Friday, April 10th, 2009 - Passion Club will once again turn off all of its lights for Flashlight Party 4, brought to you by Cabo Noche magazine, Hautter.com and Balsley Productions. The only lights in the club will be from the flashlights of those who attend.

This year’s Flashlight Party will feature a LIVE performance by world famous Green Velvet, along with DJs Roman Rosati and Nestor Rever. Plus, enjoy a custom light show by V-Publicidad, controlled and designed by light artisan Pitch Black.

Fans of minimal techno and Chicago jack house are in for a show at Flashlight Party 4, as Green Velvet "schools" Los Cabos with a LIVE performance. Curtis Jones is his birth name, but his stage names, Cajmere and Green Velvet, are world famous in the electronic music scenes. Remember the famous 1992 track, 'Coffeepot (It's Time For The Percolator)'? If you don't, check it out at http://www.hautter.com/green-velvet.

Percolator was one of Curtis' fist famous tracks, produced under the name Cajmere. In 1993, Curtis began producing a new sound under the name Green Velvet, while creating a complete alter ego with flamboyant style and wild stage performances. Throughout the mid-90's Green Velvet released hit after hit, each featuring lyrics in form of slightly demented stories. The result was an instant success, as his sound reverberated throughout the house and techno scenes world over. Constantly reinventing himself, Curtis allows the physical look and music style of Green Velvet to consistently evolve. From spiked neon-green braids to a bright yellow Mohawk, GV now sports a more clean-cut look. When asked why," I just got bored with it," Curtis shrugged. "I mean good God, I can't keep doing the same s@#t all the time." In my many years knowing Curtis, I never know what to expect. Every time I see him perform, it's something new. If you're here on April 10th, catching Green Velvet live at Passion Club should be one of the top things on your list to experience while in Los Cabos.
